Frequently Asked Questions

🧭 1. What is this platform about?

This online directory is designed to showcase businesses and service providers that support nature-positive outcomes — environmentally sustainable, socially responsible, and economically inclusive.

We capture profiles of:

Organizations with verified nature-positive practices.

Producers with certified sustainable goods.

Service providers offering nature-positive solutions (e.g. eco-auditing, agroecology training).

📜 2. What qualifies as a “certification”?

Only third-party conformity assessments for voluntary standards qualify as certifications. Examples include:

ECOCERT, GAP, HAACP, ISO Standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 26000, ISO/IEC 17065), Fair Trade, Fair for Life

What doesn’t count as a “certification”?

Business licenses or registrations such as CAC or NEPC are not certifications. They belong in the “Organization Details>>Legal & Regulatory” section of your profile.

📦 3. Where do I upload product certificates?

Product-related certifications (e.g. Organic, ECOCERT) go under the “Certifications” tab — not under “Products” unless directly tied to a product’s labeling claim.

💡 If you’re a service provider and wish to showcase brochures or service descriptions, use the “Services” tab instead.

⚠️ 4. What happens if I upload incorrect or misleading documents?

Mislabeling certifications or uploading unrelated documents may result in:

  • Temporary removal from the directory.
  • Notification to correct the issue.
  • Repeat offenses may lead to permanent suspension.

We maintain high standards of integrity to protect all users and ensure credibility.

🧾 5. What kind of documentation should I upload?
  • Business Registration: CAC certificate, NEPC license → “Legal & Regulatory”
  • Third-Party Certifications: ECOCERT, Fair Trade, ISO → “Certifications”
  • Product Labels: Organic, Forest Stewardship → “Product Certifications”
  • Brochures / Service Descriptions: Only if you’re a service provider → “Services”
📣 6. I’m a service provider, not selling physical goods — can I still participate?

Absolutely. If you deliver nature-positive services — from consulting to environmental monitoring — your brochure, service descriptions, and project credentials are more than welcome.

  • Misplacement of documents to misrepresent credibility.
  • Non-nature-positive products or services.
  • Any content violating local or international laws.
